BIOGRAPHY

Louis Henry Klein is a seasoned trial and litigation attorney with over 25 years of experience representing clients in complex, high-exposure matters in state and federal courts. His practice spans serious criminal defense, sophisticated civil litigation, and immigration proceedings, with a focus on cases where the legal, financial, and personal stakes are substantial.

Criminal Defense

Mr. Klein has defended clients in serious and high-profile prosecutions in New York and Connecticut, including homicide and other violent felony matters that have received media attention. He regularly appears in federal court and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York.

His criminal practice includes:

Mr. Klein earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and received the Distinguished Scholar Award. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the City University of New York.
